Seahorse Summer session 2026
I’m happy to announce that I’ll be participating in the Seahorse Summer Session Gala this year.
It’s a pleasure to return to this event after several years! Thank you, Rebecca and Oliver, for the invitation!
I can’t wait for the thrill of show jumping, meeting wonderful people, and the wonderful atmosphere of this show! Lots of excitement, delicious food, good music, a bit of art – sounds like a perfect weekend 🙂
Let me present my art works that will accompany the show:
Horses are such an obvious and natural inspiration for art. Strong, powerful, yet graceful and delicate. Athletic, dynamic in movements, reminding us of freedom when we see them galloping across the fields. They can also be fun! But that’s not all.
What I love about equestrian life is the partnership and bond with horses. Every horse is different, and you have to find the best way to work with them each time. You have to put your ego aside, be attentive, and patient. You can’t just force a horse (or at least you shouldn’t) to do something they don’t want to or are afraid of. You have to find a better solution. It’s a wonderful life lesson, and a wonderful collaboration. And sometimes it requires us to look at things from a new, unusual perspective.
It’s also a team sport. Riders and horses, trainers, grooms… everyone works hard for the final result. And what would this sport be without the spectators – families, friends, and all those who cheer on the riders during competitions?
Doesn’t matter if you’re riding alone on a beach at the end of the world or jumping in an arena full of spectators, you’re never alone and you’re always dependent on a living animal to care for. Either you win as partners, or you both lose. “Into the Sky” is an illustration of this thought.
