Torres del Paine

One of the most monumental, spectacular and picturesque mountain view I have ever seen. Torres del Paine viewed from the east on a break of day. One of the most beautiful places on Earth!

I was lucky enough to go there with friends when I was living in Argentina. We took a drive to central Patagonia, and this exact view was the backdrop for one of our breakfasts while camping by the river. It was definitely one of the most beautiful morning views of my life! And swimming in an icy river with such a view – priceless!

During my travels, the beauty of the landscapes of remote places has often left me speechless and moved me so deeply that I’ve sometimes cried with emotion. Places like the Arctic, Patagonia, Antarctica… they’re so different from home, so remote and wild, that I feel like a part of me has never really returned. At least the memories remain with me forever and can later be transformed into images like this one.
