The world of Show jumping

For several years I had a chance to work with amazing sport horses and observe best riders in action! The inspiration was just there, in everyday life, I was surprised it took me so long to follow it and turn into something colorful.

All that grace, energy and power combined in such a gentle animal!

“Speed Challenge” was the first of a series of dynamic, acrylic paintings inspired by my experiences working at showjumping competitions. And it was the best way for me to step into new year, with new energy and boldness!

The show jumping speed challenge is a thrilling, timed competition in which the fastest rider clears the obstacle without making any mistakes wins. Unlike standard events, riders strive to shave every fraction of a second off their time by taking sharp turns, galloping between obstacles, and often risking minor mistakes for the sake of speed.
