Playing Squash

Of all the sports I love and play, this one I have the opportunity to practice regularly several times a week.

Every sport, like every experience in life, teaches me something. For some, competitive sports come naturally, but I’m constantly learning not to give up, to push myself harder, and to “aim high.” We may be friends off the field, but during the match we play to win. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, and to play truly well, you have to train for years. And that’s okay.

If only we could play outdoors! Like in Egypt, under the pyramids, in the sun…
